Glayzer

Stable trajectory and sensitive ball behaviour — the accessible Spring Sponge X variant.
The grey Spring Sponge X is used in the Glayzer — the power generated by spin is optimally transferred to the stroke. A stable trajectory arises from the combination of a topsheet that conveys ideal ball feel, and the enhanced abrasion resistance of the surface that Spring Sponge X enables with a hardness of 38 degrees.
This rubber thus offers players of various skill levels the opportunity to execute powerful topspin strokes both on the forehand and the backhand, with the focus on spin and counter play.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which playing style suits the Glayzer?
Glayzer is suited to offensive players of various skill levels seeking powerful topspin strokes with a focus on spin and counter play. The stable trajectory and sensitive ball behaviour make the rubber suitable for both ambitious club players and advanced hobby players.
What sets Glayzer apart from Tenergy 05?
Glayzer uses the newer Spring Sponge X sponge (38° instead of 36° Spring Sponge in the Tenergy 05) and offers higher abrasion resistance for a longer service life. Tenergy 05 is more linear and slightly stronger in spin; Glayzer, by contrast, is easier to control and more forgiving of minor inaccuracies.
What is Spring Sponge X?
Spring Sponge X is the further development of Spring Sponge technology, used in the premium rubbers Dignics and Glayzer. It provides a particularly pronounced catapult effect combined with high precision and abrasion resistance. In the Glayzer it appears in the 38° variant, offering a good compromise between playability and performance.
How does Glayzer differ from Glayzer 09c?
Glayzer 09c has a tacky topsheet and a harder 42° sponge — resulting in significantly higher rotation values (spin 87 instead of 73), but also requiring more playing skill. The regular Glayzer is softer at 38°, easier to play, and aimed at a broader skill range.
Is Glayzer suitable for beginners?
Glayzer is more aimed at advanced players. Beginners are better served with the Rozena — it is softer (35° instead of 38°) and more forgiving of inaccuracies. Players who already play confidently with Rozena and seek more spin and a more modern stroke behaviour will be well served by the Glayzer.
