Tenergy 05 Hard

Highly dynamic play with even more rotation capability than the Tenergy 05.
The Tenergy 05 HARD is a member of the successful Tenergy rubber series and represents a further development of the Tenergy 05. The harder sponge base with Spring Sponge technology enables highly dynamic play and offers even greater rotation capability compared to other Tenergy rubbers.
Players who hit the ball particularly cleanly and with a fast arm motion will no longer want to miss the rotation development, precision and reliability — especially in reactive topspin play. Thanks to its linear catapult, 43° hard sponge and increased weight, the Tenergy 05 HARD is particularly recommended for ambitious players.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which playing style suits the Tenergy 05 HARD?
Tenergy 05 HARD is aimed at strong offensive players with clean stroke technique and fast arm motion seeking higher rubber weight and maximum rotation.
How does the Tenergy 05 HARD differ from the Tenergy 05?
The Tenergy 05 HARD uses a significantly harder sponge base (43° instead of 36°) and is overall heavier than the regular Tenergy 05. This delivers more dynamics and higher rotation values, but requires cleaner stroke technique. The 05 pip structure remains identical.
What is Spring Sponge technology?
Spring Sponge is a sponge technology developed by Butterfly with particularly high elasticity and energy return. It gives the Tenergy rubbers their characteristic catapult effect and linear stroke behaviour.
How does Tenergy differ from the Dignics series?
The Dignics series is the further development of Tenergy rubbers with the newer Spring Sponge X technology. Dignics rubbers offer higher rotation values and longer service life, but are more expensive. Tenergy remains the more attractively priced choice with proven playing characteristics.
Is the Tenergy 05 HARD suitable for beginners?
The Tenergy 05 HARD is primarily aimed at advanced offensive players. Due to its playing character, the rubber is less suitable for beginners — Butterfly rubbers of the Rozena or Sriver series, or the softer FX variant, are more appropriate here.
